Community Connections

November reminds us to take pause, to be grateful, to celebrate, to find joy and to be a part of the beauty that surrounds us.

FREE Community Class on Wednesday 11/17/21 7p-8:15p ET.

Plan for a slower paced class that brings balance and expansion, focus and growth.

Creating this online community of support has been an anchor for me, it has opened up opportunities to meet people I wouldn't have otherwise met, and brought connection to those near and far. I look forward to continuing this offering beginning again in late January 2022 for a winter series. Moving, breathing, and meditating along with the seasons brings us closer to nature, recognizing how transitions happen inside of us and all around us.

In the spirit of giving, if you feel called to contribute the funds you would have paid towards this class to an organization of your choice, we can keep an intention of positive support going for those in need.

Here are some organizations I will be supporting this November into December.

World Central Kitchen (WCK) uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Within this past year they have been to India, Gaza, and have recently launched a Climate Disaster Fund as a way to bring awareness and solution to communities hurt by extreme weather.

The Fisher House builds homes for military and veteran families of patients while receiving medical care. The foundation manages grant programs that supports other charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses, and children of fallen and disabled veterans. The Fisher House donates over 90% of its contributions and expenses back to the programs and services it provides to active military and veterans.

Generosity.org and Water.org are organizations dedicated to ending the clean water crisis through the United Nations Sustainable Development goal of ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
